Interim

I have deliberately photographed nature ever since I first held a camera. I learned photography by capturing nature on family trips as a teenager, took my first solo journey to photograph landscapes, and to this day, all of my long-term projects revolve around nature.

Until I realized there is so much else I constantly encounter. Those the subtle, fleeting scenes that speak in their own way, especially in the in-between places while I’m working on those long-term projects.

This is not an attempt to see something new, or to see something in a new way, but rather to notice and preserve the things that are too easy to overlook—things that happen on the same timeline. Nothing spectacular. Simply a way of acknowledging that beauty exists in the everyday, in the quiet, ordinary, and the often-unnoticed. This series is, in the end, a favor I do for myself: to pay attention and to write down those stories. Leaving a remark I can return to and remember. And if I’m lucky, perhaps others might see a part of themselves in it too.
